Cochise County marks the southeast corner of Arizona, and its seat, Bisbee, is in the central-south region of the county, sitting just north of the Mexican border. Tucson is only 90 miles to the northwest, and Bisbee real estate enjoys a pervasively laidback air.
Once the cultural center of the southwest, Bisbee was the site of phenomenally productive gold, silver, lead, copper, and zinc mines. But the last big mines closed by 1975, and Bisbee found that its mining heritage is just as valuable as a tourists' and artists' location.

They were built anew after a fire completely ravaged the downtown in 1908, so there is a unity of design that makes the real estate in Bisbee something special.
